@tchambers potentially, you'd still need at least one of the radios to be connected to traditional internet. And you immediately run into a recentralization problem, where you have to trust the person running the Mastodon bridge.
The ideal situation (and I'm not sure if C2S is at a point yet where this would work), is you being able to sign an activity, send that activity over meshtastic and then any number of people could run delivery radios that take your signed activity and give it to your server. Which would be pretty cool
The 'PUCO' people who come to my door once a month asking for my gas bill account number is definitely a scam, right?
Related: I found https://playsearch.kaki87.net/ (by @KaKi87) which lets you filter apps to find ones that don't have ads, so that's cool. Though it's a little disappointing the Play Store doesn't let you do this natively
Weird question, but does anyone know of any non-scammy android apps that will let you clap to find it (you clap and it rings and/or flashes the light)? My Grandma had downloaded several of them and at least one (though likely all) were basically viruses. I looked around for a few but the first couple I tried were immediately filled with ads that if you clicked on would take you to download other less-than-reputable apps
I always get a tiny bit excited when I end up on a random website and it has a link to their fediverse profile on it
I need a mastodon fork that lets me block myself
Hm, the Pixelfed dev blocked me. Which is fine, I encourage everyone to block me so that one day I can achieve my dream of posting into the void.
But, I don't think I've interacted with them ever, so that's a bit odd.
@jnv @killyourfm I'm just glad they're still sticking with physical games
@killyourfm haha- I just assumed it was enlarged to make it the significant part of the image
My collection sits on a shelf next to a bunch of variety sized books, so I don't think I mind it (but the switch box is already too large for what it contains tbh)
@killyourfm Metroid Prime feels a little niche to be the title the switch 2 launches on
@BeAware DMs are off by default on bluesky as well, so 99% of the time they don't even get a message about it
Also, there's a 0% chance of me convincing any larger account to opt in- because (justifiably) most people will not follow a strange account at the request of a stranger with 10 followers
@BeAware @mirabilos @PaxGeoffrey @michael yeah it's still an issue in mastodon as far as I'm aware
https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/32615 this is the pull request that should fix it, but it's still in development over the last few months
@killyourfm finally, music for no one by no one.
@andypiper @BeAware @juergen_hubert i was thinking it'd be cool to have that as the front-end, and make it a follow-able group in the fediverse that shares all the posts from all your accounts
I've got my postmarks (link bookmarking) bridged to bluesky and an open pull request to fix it for everyone
@FlashMobOfOne @emarktaylor.bsky.social what can I say 🤷♂️ I have a gift

If anyone remembers the weirdest commencement speech that happened at Ohio State last year, here's a small update:

@killyourfm can we assume at this point that nintendo did a big announcement video a few months ago and they just forgot to send out the video link
