At least in Italy (but I'm quite confident it is the same all over Europe) we need and always needed to give our ID to buy any SIM card/ phone subscription. There's no such thing as a burner phone.

Well, I read the whole thread. It was a matter of 2-3 people which were more a PITA than giving useful advice.
In my opinion if HolosIndex will be more strict than it already was, since it was very strict in what to index, it will be not useful, since almost no one is going to add #HolosIndex tag and it is not even an ActivityPub standard.

Out of curiosity, could you tell in % how much do you pay in taxes?

I could be considered middle class.
Here in Italy I pay in taxes roughly 35-40% of my wage, then we pay 22% VAT on most products we buy (except for food, which is 10%) and roughly 50% excise on fuel (benzin today costs 1.7 €/l, which translates in 7.2 $/gallon)

In the other hand, most services are free or at very low, national-fixed price, such as the healthcare.

Does not work with potty Putty on the same PC (or I'm missing something).
