You can instruct #Pleroma to not blur #NSFW images. Unfortunately this settings syncs to other devices and it really shouldn’t. I don’t want them blurred at home, but want them blurred at work. So I have an alternate solution:

Da meine #Pleroma Instanz immer noch nicht wirklich richtig läuft, werde ich die Follow-Liste meiner stillgelegten #Firefish Instanz einmal hier importieren. Die vorgesehene Nachfolge-Instanz wäre eine #Akkoma Instanz - hier geht es nicht weiter, weil mich der VPN Provider im Stich lässt und eine nötige Änderung seit einer Woche nicht ausführt. Habe zwar schon mehrfach nachgefragt, aber wegen "Überlastung" kann man nichts tun... meine Güte.

Okay so why did #FSE and #SPC die? Isn’t #pleroma / #akkoma supposed to be so much better than #Mastodon? Why then couldn’t they run at full capacity indefinitely?
I’m not hating on #rebased BTW, #Poast seems to be doing fine from what little I hear. It’s just funny that I heard so many people over there boasting and bragging about how #pleroma and #akkoma are so much better than #Mastodon because they have more features and run lighter, etc. etc. meanwhile those instances are down now while instances like mstdn.social have been running at full throttle for years now with a pretty similarly sized userbase IIRC

@realcaseyrollins I did not know the main #Pleroma & #Akkoma instances were down! I wonder if it was due to their host‽ There are a lot of factors why an instance could be down, ranging from lack of resources, to not paying the bill on time. 🤷🏾♂️
That said, until either release official apps, I do not see either catching up to #Mastodon anytime soon.
