    @killyourfm
They make my exact card both air/liquid cooled (the 4090 suprim 24G by MSI)
    Air Cooled: 336x142x78mm
    Liquid: 280x140x43mm

basically it's considerably shorter and almost half as thick.

granted the liquid does obviously use an external radiator similar to the cpu one (they're actually pretty much the exact same), mine I replaced two of my three front fans with the radiator setup.

@killyourfm it's mostly heat-sink and fans, cpu ones are massive now too. I have the water cooled version of the 4090 and it's far more reasonably sized, about the same size as my old 960, only takes up one slot and doesn't require a longer case (you can still fit drive bays/etc in front of it)

@killyourfm you know, i'd respect it a lot more if they'd at least made it functionally report the battery level, all it would have taken is a few LEDs and a controller.

@BeAware @aras please see thread above, the admins comments honestly go even worse than the people he's defending, not only did he publicly post everyone's name who reported the offending accounts so that they could be retaliated against, he also has a pretty nasty thread calling for the beheading of anyone getting an abortion...this is no longer even resembling a linux community, it's just a nazi bar now

@killyourfm it really is a balance, especially with tomatoes they'll split if you water them too much too quickly, but when it's that hot out sometimes you really do just have to drench everything to keep them alive. Depending on how long the heat wave lasts and how much rain you get you could soak them in bursts a few times a day to make sure it's soaked enough to pull in the water, but don't keep the ground permanently saturated or you can also cause damage.

@killyourfm np, if i'm home during a heatwave i generally toss this thing out in my garden and just leave it on until the heatwave ends, might not be as great of an idea if you have longer heatwaves but it's what normally works for me.

@killyourfm how much water are you giving it? especially in extreme heat where the soil drys fast melons need a TON of water, like...absolutely soak the soil (better to water a lot a few times than a little constantly). If it's really hot the soil could be drying too fast before it can really soak it up, or the water might not be penetrating deep enough onto it's roots.

they also do grow VERY slowly, but you should be seeing "something" each week.

@jzillw eh, I think the intent for the first mission is just "get comfortable with the driving mechanics, finding buildings, learning how to exit." When it starts being timed after that it really eases you into it a few minutes is more than enough time to loot most early areas, then by the time you get to mid areas you generally start each zone making a plan for your route. You also get infinite time on certain story missions later as well. There IS checkpointing just not within the current zone

@jzillw that first run has a zone effect turned on that the zone never collapses until you trigger it. When you get past the tutorial you only have 10-15 minutes per zone before they collapse on themselves and you either need to escape or continue to the next area (more dangerous zones can also start collapsing right when you enter), so saves wouldn't be useful for anything other than resource scumming once you get to the actual runs.

@HauntedOwlbear yamaha P series, I have the lowest end of the series (p45) and love it, skip the accessories pack they offer with them though.

@mcc guilty, lol, definitely submitted my share, generally with a patch and debug info. Also i found long ago when reporting bugs in games to often lie about os (gen by omission) as most devs wouldnt take it seriously otherwise, even with it being a known complained about issue with actual windows users and absolute proof. Windows players in general are so used to bugs with no path to get them fixed they complain, but never report!

@killyourfm as bleak as most planets/moons are in elite dangerous (i mean, they really should be so it's definitely realistic) I love how elite handles descent to surface/landing/taking off, it's all very manual and has that "feel" to it. the space game i've played the most of by far, with my VR + HOTAS setup.

@killyourfm I'm nearing 100 hours with no end in sight, what keeps shocking me is how EVERY tiny little insignificant seeming thing in previous acts keeps coming back up in later acts, and my actions back then seem to actually affect story/options/etc going forward, and in a fairly natural way, your character relations also mean quite a bit to the story and how it progresses (I'm doing dark urge + shadowheart is the closest to me, it's turned into a huge story of them helping each other through)

@killyourfm one thing that wasn't apparent to me until a decent way in though is that TIME is important too, so mind that some things still happen while you're doing side-quests or resting, when someone tells you something is urgent or time is running out on something they MEAN it, it's a nice touch I didn't catch at first.

@killyourfm That's it? I lived off their 4gLTE hotspot for like 5 years and my average speeds were like 20-30MBit

[edit] oh god, didn't even see the ping, that's horiffic, mine on my old hotspot rarely went over 40ms!
