I don't think I've ever bought a scratch off ticket to be honest. As far as lottery tickets go, I know I've only spent $10 or less on them my whole life.

Every time it gets up to having a huge jackpot I consider buying one since the chances of winning are about the same regardless. I might have to get one once a month or something. It's only $5 or less for one with all the multipliers I think and I don't really have any other vices anymore haha.

That's the thing, they're not doing anything illegal so there is no worry about joining.

This guy is a kook. Even Obama's head of climate change said that the push for individuals to buy electric cars and the like is a result of the major corporations, which are something like 90% responsible for emissions and pollution, trying to shift the blame onto the individuals so that they can keep doing stuff like buying "carbon credits" and the like instead of actually changing their practices.

Meat isn't an issue and if I were to advise people to change any eating habits, it would be to purchase organic products made on a local farm when possible and eat less simple carbs and more meat and vegetables/fruit.

Anything else is silly.

If you want to go by that standard then technically ALL of the Bible is "second hand."

If the Old Testament is the Word of God then so is the New Testament.

And most "serious theologians" DO believe the Bible is correct, they just believe that some people have incorrect interpretations of it, even themselves sometimes if they're honest and reasonable.
