     I don't think I've ever bought a scratch off ticket to be honest. As far as lottery tickets go, I know I've only spent $10 or less on them my whole life.
     
     Every time it gets up to having a huge jackpot I consider buying one since the chances of winning are about the same regardless. I might have to get one once a month or something. It's only $5 or less for one with all the multipliers I think and I don't really have any other vices anymore haha.

     @Tony @animeirl i've not grown corn in particular but i have gardened and farmed yes. i dont have the money for a full fledged right now, but ive had a good amount of experience with other peoples or doing this stuff on regular properties
     it's all about selection though, i've not personally witnessed that like "acre homstead" thing but one 2-3 self sufficient people and helping alot there, so cozy

     @Tony @maija @animeirl yea can do that, it isn't impossible to learn to create any kind of dairy products from goat milk, with the internet i can learn all i need about anything, and that's basicly the improtant part, i'll be referencing the internet any time i'm stuck till i got a good grasp of waht i'm doing, i'm a dive in kinda guy, so generally i just do something then, look up better ways, my garden i got now, has been built progressively as sthe year went on.

     @maija @Tony @animeirl i dunno what that is, but so far i've used no pesticides at all, i haven't acutally needed any to be entirely fair, but next year i plan to try sticking beans where i need more nitrogen, like near corn, stuff like that is interesting to me, i'm also composting anything that composts.

     It's the standard "lotto ticket buyer" that bothers me. Usually older, on disability or poor. And they usually make a scene of it.
     
     If you can manage to buy a lotto ticket without holding up the line, I am sure you are plenty tolerable...lol

     @GabeLakmann @Tony @maija @animeirl Yeah lotto is a scam. Blatantly, full stop. I buy scratch offs as gifts for people who have everything already. It's fun, and I usually go for the $10 ones or bigger, because sometimes you do win a surprisingly good amount. Big lotto is "fun" because you get to think about what you'd do if you won and what all you'd do with your money. That's better entertainment for the couple of bucks than most movies or whatever.
