@TonyStark Reelect Biden and give him a House and Senate to support his agenda and judges. If he isn’t up for four whole more years, he steps down at his leisure, and a magnificent woman of color, the very sort of person Dems claim to want, steps in, and is the incumbent. Dream scenario. 2/2
@georgetakei We call it the "birthday season". It starts when the birthday person is ready for it to start... very lenient rules, but starts slow a couple weeks before, and then ends when the birthday person is done, and they are always tired of it before a month is up. So much can go wrong on any particular day or even week; work, illness, family obligations, so it works great. There are only two of us, and our birthdays are six months apart and not near holidays, so it is really perfect.
@thomasfuchs@vkc People barely know if they have one. There is a huge number of people/households with a sewing machine they inherited & probably doesn't work, or they don't know how to use it well enough so it works, or someone already took it to the thrift store. Machines are so valueless, I am given perfectly fine machines all the time & reliably find them for <$25. To me it is like getting rid of your stove because you don't like to cook. In any case, machines are thing no one reports on.
@bolts In contrast, I didn't vote in one election in the 14 years I have lived in Missouri, and I have already been informed that I have been removed from the voter rolls, and need to send in the postcard if I am still here and a voter, or be turned away at the polls. So, check your registration, people!
