This suggests that, analogous to the de-nazification in Germany after WW2, a comprehensive de-zionisation of Israeli society was necessary. However, like in Germany, this can only succeed after a complete defeat of the Israeli army and state apparatus. The problem is that there is no coalition of allied forces in sight who are willing to bring this about.

I'd like to propose here that we stop to say "America" when we mean the US.

no wonder, as the so called reality is in large parts a real abstraction of what is happening. Karl #Marx called it #fetishization, mentioning esp. the "commodity fetish", the "capital fetish" and the "money fetish". From a wider perspective, it's possible to discern analogically a "state fetish", a "law fetish", a "democracy fetish", etc.
Maybe in the future (or is it already now) we will be talking about an AI-fetish.
