@grips For context, my convictions were that the earth is 6000 years old, with Genesis 1 describing the first 6 days. Also that the KJV is God's written and pure Word in it's entirety. And that not believing in either of the above is apostasy and unbelief.
The first two are evidence that either evolution is true, or that God went out of his way to make it look like evolution were true.
The latter two are contradictions, Matthew 16:28 a failed prophecy spoken by Jesus, and Matthew 27:9 an attribution error (Matthew quoted Zechariah but attributed the quote to Jeremiah, or an error got inserted in transmission)
Since I still believe that if you hold to the Bible you would need to reject these evidences, I reject the Bible.

@grips @Godcast I don't know how I could honestly take the Genesis account of the creation and the flood as mere allegory, or that God's words are scattered among a contradictory web of manuscripts ("not one jot or tittle", "man shall live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God").
And Matthew 16:28 I can't leave as "significant".
Another question would be 'Which church?' Obviously not my previous church (I'm persona non grata) but Catholic and Orthodox ones have many issues too, as my (on a what-if basis) theology is still Baptist. Thanks for the reminder that other beliefs might be valid, though.

So that means that watching media in a foreign language is actually fruitful? I've been wondering about that for a while since it didn't seem to be so for Japanese when I was a weeb, although maybe if you're studying as well then it's a different matter entirely.

I can't believe it, but DDG and Brave's junk results on anything mathematical (need to click on things to find the formula), while Google giving the formula I'm after as a big bold suggestion and the relevant stackexhange post as first result has me setting Google as my default browser.

@MMS21 @bot It contradicts the Quran if verse 1 says "reason according to the Gospel (which says that Jesus rose from the dead)" and verse 2 says "Jesus did not rise from the dead, he only pretended to be on the cross as he ascended".
If you go down the "but all evidence of this 'true gospel' was destroyed" route then you have a capricious and dishonest deity.
Yes I'm aware of the corrupt versions of the Bible (it's why I only use the KJV), but claiming there is an invisible Quranic original that completely vanished is even more ridiculous considering the vast differences that exist in Alexandrian manuscripts and the like.

@MMS21 @bot Where in the Bible does it say any such thing? To my understanding the Bible is silent on such matters (it's likely they were under 18, but by how much we cannot know)
I don't count Satan's counterfeit the Quran as a source.
But even in your false Scripture, it is written:
Surah 5:47. "So let the people of the Gospel rule according to what God revealed in it. Those who do not rule according to what God revealed are the sinners."
The Gospel says plainly that Jesus is one with the Father, yet that He was manifest in the flesh, and that He died and rose from the dead the third day. It is also written in Galatians 1:8 that if any man preaches another Gospel, to let him be accursed.
This is a clear contradiction in the Quran.

@MMS21 @bot I know about those other verses. I am saying that your false text is contradictory because the "Jesus" of the Quran rejects worship, while the true Jesus of the Bible accepts worship, and it is this Jesus whom Mohamed says God revealed prior to "Gabriel's" (Satan's) revelation.
Do you have any evidence of such corruption? Where is even one Bible manuscript that agrees with the Quran? You have a god who would reveal truth, then hide it away and completely destroy it in a way which contradicts his new truth. So either allah or Mohamed is a liar, or the Quran is also depreciated.
