100% agreed. My Mastodon instance is by invitation only and limited to very few people. We all know each other and know what to expect of one another.

There are really nice rules on other servers and folks look out for each other. Sure, on occasion there’s trouble on an instance but folks sort it out one way or another. Anyone else think Apple should rewrite Safari in Swift?

It would be a massive undertaking and could be done piecemeal. E.G. Rendering, or perhaps just the UI chrome, for starters.

I heard somewhere it’s the most used piece of Apple software. It would certainly make life interesting for the Safari/WebKit team. 😃

This company is everything I love in a for profit social network company. No ads, no algorithms, no tracking, and a chronological feed. It’s perfect.

I’m a Glass subscriber and I’d like this, but I’d like Glass to stay around so they need subscribers.

Apple magic is real. Folks get FOMO and are afraid they’ll miss out on the ultimate personal tech status symbol.

I cannot personally see owning one but I may develop for it. It’s too big and bulky, with poor battery life, and is way too expensive.

The only thing I can see using Vision Pro for is movies. But to enjoy them with my wife would set us back $7k.
