    It's been a while since I posted about @tootsdk - maybe it's worth the #introduction!

    #TootSDK 📣 is a cross-platform Swift library that can give you a head start when building apps for Mastodon and the fediverse in general. Works on desktop, mobile and server-side.

    @davidgarywood and I created it with the goal of helping folks build all kinds of fun experiences that work with your favourite fedi instance. When we first moved from the other place, Dave set up a Mastodon instance for himself while I picked a Pleroma instance, and so we continually try to keep things working for both of us.

    In any case, feel free to check it out and as always, your thoughts / comments / issues and PRs are always welcome :blobcathearthug:

    I really hope we get the option to configure the expression of the eyes on the outside screen of Vision Pro as well as Digital Personas during calls.

    e.g."Siri, make me appear excited and interested during this call" while I just keep my resting bitch face on.

    In case you're like me and never tried this before ... you can add controls to the menu bar by dragging and dropping out of Control Center instead of toggling the options in Settings.

    I saw a post trending on HN about the #Docker situation where the advice is for folks to migrate to #GitHub. However, don’t forget that GitHub is a #Microsoft product and as such is open to the same kind of sudden policy changes. It’s a good moment to consider “really free” alternatives or self hosting where possible. This isn’t a new situation, the free tier of every corp is a component in their marketing toolbox. Be it with telemetry, free marketing, engagement, etc. One way or another, one ends up in their revenue funnel.
