Went to the physiotherapist today, and he didn't hold punches.

"All my patients that get injured while running, none of them have a physical issue. All of them overtrain, but that's because of underlying psychological issues."

If you consider going to the US, whatever the reason, don’t, for your own safety.

If you consider organizing an event to the US for an international community, you’re putting people’s lives at risk.

If you want an English-speaking environment for an international event, pick Canada or the UK. Heck, even in Scandinavian countries everyone speaks English.

@killyourfm worth noting that for the few people who have enabled advanced data protection, that will not work!

If you’re not ready to abandon iCloud entirely, don’t have advanced data protection enabled, but want to keep your library in sync, icloudpd is a neat tool to do so

@killyourfm I'm following the "why get a NAS if you can get everything on you laptop anyway" route these days, after spending the summer playing with k8s on a server in my living room 😄

Still need to iron out a few wrinkles before I can publish and make recommendations, but the app maintainers I've reached out to are excellent people.
