@WarnerCrocker It’s so good 😊
I think I’ll rewatch the 2017 Ghost in the Shell film later. I loved it when it came out and saw it multiple times in the cinema—I also bought it on iTunes.
It got pushback for casting Scarlet Johansson. Which I thought was bullshit then and still do now. As I outlined in my glowing review. BTW I’ve changed my mind about the spider tank CGI blemish and have updated my rating to 10⭐️

From Gary Marcus on Substack.
"GenAI is an approach that is enormously popular, but one that is neither reliable nor particularly well-grounded in truth.
Different, yet-to-be-developed approaches, with a firmer connection to the world of symbolic AI (perhaps hybrid neurosymbolic models) might well prove to be vastly more valuable. I genuinely believe arguments from Stuart Russell and others that AI could someday be a trillion dollar annual market.”

Imagine the Situation Room scenes in The West Wing. Imagine the current crop of US cabinet members in similar real world situations.
Pity the professional military and Intelligence staff having to deal with them.
@WarnerCrocker I know 😔
@WarnerCrocker I’ve filtered his name and Musk at multiple levels. So I’m not up to speed with all the information. I only see the major stuff that breaks through like this. And stuff that hits Brian Tyler Cohen’s YouTube channel.
@WarnerCrocker Hang on. Isn’t that why he’s saying President Biden’s pardons are invalid?
What’s the goal? Is it to deflect public pushback or is it peril from court cases?
@WarnerCrocker What new horror is this?
@WarnerCrocker In case you missed this…

@WarnerCrocker Eeek. Fingers crossed it’s not a severe as forecast.
@WarnerCrocker Grim 😒
I liked Black Bag because it’s not like Slow Horses. I bailed on Slow Horses in S1. I’d like to see more films with the Black Bag characters.
And this review is another example of a one I disagree with after I’ve seen a film. I stopped reading reviews before watching films about a decade ago. I don’t agree with many after watching the film in question. Too many reviewers think their job is to find fault. A terrible way to make a living.

Empires fall. The history books attest. Strange to see it happen first hand.
Reading about Copilot and how to put guardrails on it. There are anecdotal reports that one of the most common questions to Copilot in organisations is, “What’s the salary of the CEO?”
😬
@WarnerCrocker L&H was a staple in my childhood home. My father was a huge fan.
@WarnerCrocker Agreed.
@WarnerCrocker Yes. In the cinema. Liked it way more than I expected. You?
