     @ianRobinson We've had hot periods in September before, but this year we've had a few days in the 90's with a beating sun. For us humans it feels hotter than usual, but that might be as much pyschological as it is real given the time of year. For the bridges and other infrastructure, it's not unusual for there to be problems during successive days of extreme heat.
