@ChristiJunior@MaleGoddess@berkberkman to be fair, Starfire is an orange alien, and she shouldn't be there for the sole fact people can dismiss the entire list as "whining"
@sjw@LukeAlmighty@Ricotta just for curiosity, this is Roberta Close, a 64 year old Brazillian tranny that was a top model during the 80s/early 90s. Note, of course that:
1 - she was a tranny waaaaaaaaay back from before it was a trend (hipster tranny, was a tranny before it was cool), so she was really "wired wrong", and not just some failed man who decided to troon out.
2 - it is said that she really found out that something was wrong with her in her early teenage years, and she tought she was a gay man and tried living as such before trooning out, so, again, it was not a light decision. Needless to say her family wasn't too thrilled about that.
3 - it is also said that she started her modeling career because she was discovered at 16 year old by a singer and a modeling agent, and she was able to model despite being technically a man because she was actually pretty and looked feminine (keep in mind this was a 16 year old person in 1980 Brazil, so pretty unlikely she had access to hormone shots, so she was naturally feminine). She only did a boobjob 2 years later, so she modeled with her original body for 2 years, and people actually liked it.
4 - she spent 10 fucking years in treatment with psichiatrists and psychologists before doing her SRS in 1989
So, yeah, there may be some old trannies around, but those are that 0,0001% cases where the person is really trans, was really "born in the wrong body", and was really better off living as a woman. Problem is that the trans agenda uses those extremely rare cases to push for putting every kid who picks a doll into hormones and cutting his dick off later, and then they wonder why the suicide rate is so high.
@BowsacNoodle@Meemoo@SuperSnekFriend@Tamamo Diablo 1 and 2 were pretty good. It's a shame they have never released any more games after that. It would have been nice to see a sequel.
BTW, play Halls of Torment. It's a "vampire survivors" clone, but with less crazy shit happening, and it uses the Diablo 1 and 2 aesthetics. It's pretty fun.
@Tamamo@Meemoo BTW, to answer your question, things are like this because ads. 8 minute video, IIRC, is the minimum time you need to get mid video ads. In the case of written IGN articles, it happens both because they need the padding to justify having a whole page full of ads for the article, and also because the written article is literally the script they used for their 8 minute video that is linked somewhere in the page.
Simply put, Google ruined the internet in more than one way.
But there's a shit ton of small/obscure/niche games that don't have info in any website anymore, it's all in Discord, and that shit is very ephemeral. In general, we went away from the idea of the open, descentralized internet and flocked to centralized containers that do their own thing and don't talk to anything else (it's basically impossible to archive Discord shit, for instance).
@skylar@Saber@Owl@bleedingphoenix honestly speaking, the art is tumblr-tier and the only reason people in here say they like it is because the game is an incest festival and made trannies seethe.
And that was actually mad genius from the dev, he made a game in the trooniest art style he was able to do and jebaited all of them, who got big mad about the game.
I, particularly, recommend the game to everyone I see online who say they like Tim Burton's stuff or display any other sign of troonism. Already got some people mad at me at some streamers chats.
@Immahnoob@Owl@Saber@bleedingphoenix@skylar the art is not tumblr-like in the sense of red noses and ugly faces, it's tumblr-like in the sense it attracts that subset of tumblr that is into the "cute gothic" aesthetic and has A Nightmare Before Christmas avatars. There is a reason tumblr trannies are seething at the game, they thought it would be a tumblr style game catering to their fetishes, but it wasn't.
@lina@ElDeadKennedy heh. Honestly, I think that either we se ww3 or things will just go back to normal in a couple years. Speaking specifically about Steam/games, it's worth noting that regional pricing was introduced as a way to discourage piracy, and as we all know, Russians aren't afraid of pirating stuff. Even the most retarded shitlib dev will realize they are missing out on getting some money by trying to "make a stand", and they'll stop doing it as soon as it stops being cool.
@lina@ElDeadKennedy IDK exactly how Valve's policy is, but as I understand, regional pricing is just a suggestion that devs can agree or not. So it might just be a case of shitty devs going "Slava ukraini" or however the fuck you spell it just to pretend they are "on the right side of history".
