     @Meemoo I fucking hate video guides/walkthroughs with a burning passion.
     
     Written guide: Ctrl-f to where you are and follow. Can be printed out.
     Video guide: Scrub through timetime to the relevant part. Have to rewind if you miss something. Demands your constant attention.
     
     I miss autists writing FAQ's for obscure games. At least there's steam guides now.

     Everything being generated and posted over the past 8+ years will be lost to time.
     It only takes 1 blue haired freak dilating for entire servers/threads/whatever hosting a wealth of info on niche games to get erased forever.
     And zoom zooms are too retarded to backup and archive their shit
     
     Downplaying it by saying "it wasn't worth it anyway" is retardedly ignoring the inevitable catastrophe that WILL happen

     @Meemoo @SuperSnekFriend @Tamamo exactly. I don't care for the popular games like Diablo or the newst FIFA/COD/whatever.
     
     But there's a shit ton of small/obscure/niche games that don't have info in any website anymore, it's all in Discord, and that shit is very ephemeral.
     In general, we went away from the idea of the open, descentralized internet and flocked to centralized containers that do their own thing and don't talk to anything else (it's basically impossible to archive Discord shit, for instance).

     8 minute video, IIRC, is the minimum time you need to get mid video ads.
     In the case of written IGN articles, it happens both because they need the padding to justify having a whole page full of ads for the article, and also because the written article is literally the script they used for their 8 minute video that is linked somewhere in the page.
     
     Simply put, Google ruined the internet in more than one way.

     It's a shame they have never released any more games after that. It would have been nice to see a sequel.
     
     BTW, play Halls of Torment. It's a "vampire survivors" clone, but with less crazy shit happening, and it uses the Diablo 1 and 2 aesthetics. It's pretty fun.
