    When you point it to a folder you can set it so it changes the image from time to time

    @EdBoatConnoisseur to think that I lived through two changes in the Linux display server.
    I remember back when they were replacing XFree86 with Xorg, everyone hated Xorg too. Including me, because there was a lot of shit I had that didn't work correctly with Xorg and it was pretty frustrating to use, and everything became unbearable when every distro stopped shipping XFree86.

    And again, I don't follow tranny dev drama, but it seems a lot of projects are moving to Wayland right now and starting to ditch Xorg.

    @eris @EdBoatConnoisseur Arch is going to Wayland too, isn't it? I mean, Arch + Hyprland/Sway is a pretty common combination, and as far as I understand, both window managers are Wayland-only.

    This is incontestable proof that Arch is for trannies and faggots (EndeavorOS is Arch based with some presets).

    Same thing with "window managers" like sway, hyprland and "ricing", they are for people like this dude.


    Real men use Debian or Red Hat/Fedora with default GNOME or KDE.

    Right. So Iḿ wanting to splurge for a Hyte Y70 Touch Infinite case for my PC, spending a ton of money because the case is pretty and it has a stupid and gimmicky feature that will certainly be a chore to make it work on Linux, but I don't care.

    The thing is, my setup is "white" (in the sense my peripherals and case are white, but I couldn't be really bothered in getting a white mainboard or GPU). Like the first image.

    I have found out, however, that the Hyte Y70 has, besides the "Snow White" option (second picture) a "Panda" option, that is white on the outside but has a black interior.

    I guess that, considering that getting white components is a chore, the Panda one would be the more aesthetic choice, right?

    Yareli Prime (my oshi frame) was released in Warframe today, alongside a pretty expensive pack with exclusive cosmetics. You can still get the frame for free by farming it, the only thing you need to pay for are the cosmetics.

    Damn, I'm glad I play a completely f2p game that has no p2w or gacha elements whatsoever so I never fall into any trap of paying more than I would pay for a AAA game just to have a cosmetics pack...

    @theorytoe @phnt @gabriel yeah, but that's what I'm talking about. Due to the reasons the projects worked, it kinda makes sense gitea would still be bigger and have more resources available.

    But unfortunately, in the case of Funkywhale, yeah, I guess you are right, a fork would be a very small project that would probably die soon as most users and devs would still flock to the original. The reason is because most people don't give a fuck about principles, and they would only care if a change affects them directly, which gives margin for these retards to get in and introduce their bullshit everywhere.

By what I understood, people got icky with gitea because it got turned for profit or something like that and got associated with a company. So it makes sense gitea has way more resources than forgejo has and was able to replace the devs who left.
