@davidaugust the problem here is the institution of pardoning, not the people doing it or the people it is done to. Presidential pardons should be abolished.

@davidaugust but we all know the US Constitution is idiotic. Trouble is that if you get to the stage of amending it, under the next President, you could end up truly unbearble.
It is irrelevant how many other countries have pardon provisions. Many other countries had fascist governments, and probably all were racist. That does not justify them.
Miscarriages of justice can be dealt with by the courts. Does not apply to Kushner or Biden.

@QasimRashid let's be clear about this. The ICC consists of a group of highly experienced lawyers with no particular axe to grind. The Washington Post ... is a propaganda sheet run by a man who makes billions by stealing from the poor whose best interests are in opposing ... well, you finish it off.

@Remittancegirl terrible story. I grew up with the fear of polio (and other diseases we now prevent with vaccines). Then, along came the vaccine, and it was simple. I noted that polio emerged relatively early in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza, and despite the wretched destruction of infrastructure by the IDF, the good people of Palestine came out in their hundreds of thousands to be vaccinated. Good people know that vaccines work and do no harm. Evil people want to stop them
