Also, molecular-recycling plastics is easy, i.e. pyrolysis, but environmentalists hate it for perpetuating plastics & oil & plastic industries hate it because of course they do, so... 🤷

Today seems like an appropriate day to share something that I didn't tell anyone about the carreer change I've enacted since last summer: - besides deciding a "not actively making the world worse" job wasn't good enough, I also very much wanted to report to a woman. The best boss I've ever had was a woman & even though my last boss was fine, he was still such a dude.

While everyone who bought a Wankpanzer can be assumed to be one of those edgelord assholes, most other Tesla-buyers by far are of the "benefit of doubt" crowd - e-cars appeal overwhelmingly to self-identified "upper-middleclass lefties", who until a few years ago thought they had a rare billionaire ally in Elmo. To protect their own egos they'd done a lot of doubt-benefiting as his true colors have become evermore apparent.
