ArchaeoIain@Remittancegirl terrible story. I grew up with the fear of polio (and other diseases we now prevent with vaccines). Then, along came the vaccine, and it was simple. I noted that polio emerged relatively early in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza, and despite the wretched destruction of infrastructure by the IDF, the good people of Palestine came out in their hundreds of thousands to be vaccinated. Good people know that vaccines work and do no harm. Evil people want to stop them
