@louisderrac @charles @Faket Oui en effet vous avez raison. Au passage, la page d’accueil par défaut du navigateur, avec des raccourcis directs vers Agoda, Aliexpress, Booking, eBay, Walmart.

@dansup GNOME is definitely worth a try! I personally like it a lot and that’s the only computer interface I feel at home in, but even just out of curiosity on a design standpoint, interesting to try out. I also use macOS daily at work, and they have similarities but are also quite different. GNOME is more minimalist and more cosy.

@dansup @pixelfed Looks good! Much cleaner and more parseable. I do however think it’s important to keep the capitalisation and the tag order that the person chose? Those can convey meaning.

I’m wondering why the 10 children limit 😆

I know it’s a pretty high limit by today’s standards, but I’m thinking this feature could have a good use in education, for instance for a classroom project where each kid has a account to post photography or art, and the teacher is in control.

There is also the use case of adding more than one parent to manage the kid’s account. I’m guessing one parent should be able to add another.

@evan @tony It’s interesting how different languages/countries have adopted existing words (creating a new meaning for them) to refer to organic produce.

“Organic” in English, “Biological” (for instance where I’m from, France), “Ecological” (for instance where I live, Denmark). It would be interesting to see others!

They all work, but there’s a dilution of the original meaning. Something could be “ecological” but not “ecological”, “biological” but not “biological”, “organic” but not “organic”.

One question is if a server that capable means that it’s lighter and cheaper to run for small instances? In that case it could still be somewhat interesting…

All in all it seems that this is just a tech demo for their “Rama” product, whatever that is.

For some reason, today I’m finding myself making a thread about plastic boxes. I actually had it drafted for one or two years and never published it, but some exciting new drama in this captivating saga made me complete it today ?

So this takes places around #Copenhagen, #Denmark where I live, but I hear the trend might have crossed borders too.

Several years ago, in the shop of the contemporary art museum Arken, among all the art and #design objects, we found some plastic crates that were quite nice. They were foldable, could be piled up, and there were a lot of colours and a few different sizes that could nest instead each other. A little expensive, but practical. We got a couple for storage around the house.
