Nobody would be letting that slide. I think the only reason why not is if a lawsuit happened Filian could just change models, meaning damages could not make up the cost for lawyers to deal with it. Still I would have put her on notice if they really didn't want Filian to do this. If Filian continued to merchandise after a public statement not only would she look bad but companies wouldn't want to deal with the potential copyright infringement. There you protected your rights without major money lawyer involvement. -

It wasn't unknown, there's a video of her talking about public uses of the model from other companies. It wasn't a secret that this wasn't a model made specifically for her. The only thing not known was if she owned the rights to use the model. Which it seems like she is asserting she does, unless she believes anyone can use = anyone can make products, in which case she's stupid.
My personal question is why didn't mythic catch that, either they're stupid or Filian has gone this far with no management. -

@djsumdog I've seen them but I haven't been to one.
A favorite of mine was smart&final which was close to me but it closed. It seemed to specialize in half grocery and half restaurant stuff so there's be bulk stuff along with a large cleaning selection and food prepare stuff.
Pre-Walmart getting big everywhere my parents used to go to an IGA store. Even as a kid I felt those places were dumpy in the 90s. -

If people don't understand why Loss got roasted over the obvious reasons it was because CAD was always this lower rung of video game webcomic humor. CAD had its fans but there were more vocal haters at least in the circles I was in. Loss was Christmas for CAD haters which is why it had so much meme potential.

I dont make moral judgements over what kids should and shouldn't consume because the adults themselves are pretty hypocritical over what is and isn't appropriate for children.
The best example I can give was the push for RoboCop to be marketed towards children in later iterations. Being realistic I don't know how children would be interested in RoboCop from the first movie unless those parents took their kids to go see the movie where some guy gets their limbs blown off and bare naked titty is visible.
Kids are naturally going to be interested in edgy topics because they are edgy topics. That's only a problem because adults and parents get the ick whenever they need to address these topics and would rather let some stranger at school teach their kids this stuff rather than themselves. If people had trust that people could be good parents nobody would ever freak out over violence and sex in media. :back_from_gab: -

Stuff like declawing happens because owners do not want their cats tearing up their furniture. But cats clawing furniture is a natural reaction to them as they do this for a number of reasons. When cats do get declawed emotional problems can start developing that can lead to cat abandonment. Everything I just said was the responsibility of the owner.
Tattooing a cat falls into this "I don't know what will happen" because it's uncommon. If problems do start showing up with the cat it is far more likely the owners will just abandon the cat. If problems do start this entire situation could have been avoided if the owners just didn't do this. If you're a pet owner I don't know why you'd want to make things harder for yourself and making stupid actions.
It crosses the line because it's human vanity. It's the idea that we should be allowed to do whatever we want with an animal because they're "ours" and we're above them. It's disrespectful and sociopathic behavior and precisely the reason why pets get abandoned because it's treating them as disposable objects that they use and get their fun from. -

Cats are sensitive to changes. So in the perspective of the cat it fell asleep, then woke up in pain or discomfort.
So either the cat doesn't feel it because of different pain tolerance. Or it's mutilation that can cause psychological problems.
Like I don't know why you would risk giving a cat problems just so it could look cool. It's stupid, and a majority of cat owners like to dump their cats when they do start to have problems.
