Do not return the cart
It is not your job
If the fate of civilization rested on you returning the cart TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE STORE then you would be living a pretty good life right now but no you are poor, you are suffering daily, you have more problems than the cart being returned TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE STORE.

The newer Publix stores are designed so the cart holders are halfway down the parking lot, making it easier to return the carts to the store as it's a shorter distance for most parking spaces. It's interesting social engineering.
At these stores, I make sure to park half way down the lot next to the car holders out of principal. There's usually more parking, it's less cramped, fewer lose buggies to hit my car, and a very short distance to drop off my cart.

FIRST REASON WHY YOU SHOULDNT RETURN THE CART TO THE STORE
Here's an example of a parking lot in Arizona. Looks normal right? WRONG in summer these parking lots are well above 100 degrees (around 38 c to you fruity fucks) so if you have anything frozen, ice cream, or perishables like meat if you fuck around in the summer THESE THINGS WILL MELT OR GO BACK QUICKLY.
Now I know you fruity European fucks can't comprehend heat hotter than 80 weak ass degrees because you're simply dead at that point because you niggas don't know what air conditioning is. Some days you don't return the cart TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE STORE. :back_from_gab:

SECOND WE HAVE THESE THINGS
Know I know you fruity fucks can't comprehend other countries actually having "things" but there are cart areas right in the parking lot, everywhere. YOU DONT HAVE TO WALK ALL THE WAY TO THE FUCKING ENTRANCE OF THE STORE to put the cart away.
I know you dumb fucks want to be "nice" and return the cart to the entrance of the store for some good boy internet points but guess what NOBODY GIVE A SHIT. YOU DONT EVEN GET REDDIT GOLD FOR RETURNING THE CART TO THE ENTRANCE TO THE STORE YOU SOY LOVING FUCKS. YOU DO IT FOR FREE! :backfromgab:

ah, I was asking because Aldis have this cart system where you insert a coin to get the the cart (quarter in the US, 1 euro coin in the EU), ensuring you return the cart to get your coin back. You can 3D print these things to rig them free.

@djsumdog I've seen them but I haven't been to one.
A favorite of mine was smart&final which was close to me but it closed. It seemed to specialize in half grocery and half restaurant stuff so there's be bulk stuff along with a large cleaning selection and food prepare stuff.
Pre-Walmart getting big everywhere my parents used to go to an IGA store. Even as a kid I felt those places were dumpy in the 90s.
