@pfefferle @deadsuperhero Thank you, but probably it's not WP-AP fault. I added Anubis and I have to figure out the correct forwarding of http headers.
My setup is internet -> nginx (TLS termination)-> anubis -> nginx (to backend) -> WP multisite. Somewhere in this chain the headers are probably overwritten and client ip doesn't arrive to WP correctly.

@deadsuperhero It is really a great project.
Anyways, I just managed to broke it after 2 yrs of running flawlesly.
Http headers proxy something something 🙃 totally my fault.

Just a small tip for donors: Gofundme and Chuffed platforms (payment page) don't work well with Firefox's extensions like Privacy badger and uBlock. To make them work, disable them temporarily or add them to the exception list. Nevertheless, this is only a minor inconvenience and shouldn't distract people from donations.

Imagine the same pressure on medical doctors (or any other profession): 'Use this new X tool or leave the profession'.

@dansup When I joined fediverse, there were exactly 0 of my friends (from other networks and real life) here.
Now the number is a bit higher, but still less than 5.
If I relied on my 'friends' and trust score, I probably wouldn't be here.
It could work later for the masses, but for early adopters - I doubt it.

I think a lot of users of Pixelfed (including me) is using it BECAUSE there is no 'friends' and 'family' and most importantly, IG influencers and similar brainrot.

@bekopharm @tomi Yes! It was ... not DNS :) but close, misconfigured reverse proxy (forgot to include certificates). Thanks to #activitypub plugin author, Mr. @pfefferle !
