The far-right majority in the #Nebraska Legislature will be attempting to pass a ban on gender affirming care for people under the age of 19, by combining it with a 12-week abortion ban bill, tonight (Tuesday May 16).

OK, so what can you do for Atlanta in honor of Tortuguita (Manuel Teran) (Rest in Power), the forest defender murdered yesterday by police in another raid, and to help #StopCopCity and preserve the Welaunee Forest?
The struggle has been a militant one, with graffiti, arsons, tree-sits and blockades happenings alongside call-in campaigns and marches with kids. They don't necessarily need more militancy (though that's ofc welcomed too) - they do definitely need more mass participation and widespread awareness of the fight - a struggle made for 2023 combining fighting climate change as well as police impunity; racial justice as well as environmental and economic justice.

Manuel was nonbinary; of course they are being referred to as a man by the police and corporate media, since just a murder isn't enough for them. Please honor their memory by referring to them with the correct pronouns.
