     @riotmuffin Honestly, considering the bookfairs I've been to, I feel like we need more than table flipping.

     Boring ass fucking academia wannabes need some major upsetting in so many, many ways.

     @anarchopunk_girl @riotmuffin I like theory, too! But there's a huge gulf of difference between liking theory and feeling like we can't do anything except recreate the precise structures we claim to critique, lol.

     Like, if I wanted to go to a conference where all the "discussions" are actually presentations where I'm not able to participate and where there's nothing but seminars... That could be done in academia. It'd be nice to see a wider range of things happening, and that's... just... not really a consideration.
