The Israeli state is fascist and is committing a horrific genocide, with the help of the USA, which dabbles in fascism. There are A LOT of similarities with the fascist Nazis, and it is not antisemitic to say so. It would be antisemitic to assume Jewish people are Zionists or vise versa, and it would be antisemitic to call a Jewish person a Nazi (Jewish hatred defines Nazism). But what is happening in Gaza shares a lot of similarities with the Holocaust, moreso every day. It is making me sick. I don't know what to do.

A bill just passed in the MN House to prevent corporations or LLCs from owning more than 10 single family homes. Apparently about 3,000 single family homes in MN are owned by just four out-of-state corporations. And a quarter of all homes in NE are owned by corps. #Minnesota #Minneapolis

@eris people do that when they train their dogs: put on music when they are home alone to soothe them (classical music and male podcast voices have been shown to soothe dogs as background noise in studies), but they just associate the music with being alone so it triggers their separation anxiety. 😅

@dangerdyke @eris sometimes if you change too much, they will wait and see what you offer next (making them pickier), but offering a variety tends to make them less picky overall.

I like to push water fountains for cats because:

Cats are constantly a little dehydrated because they would ideally get most of their water from food, but with dry kibble it is harder (although many urinary dry food formulas make them drink more preventatively).

Cats have a blind spot under their noses and can't always see the water line, so it is fraught with surprise. Seeing the reflections of flowing water in their perifory vision encourages them to drink more.

@eris ot if you want to save $, when I can't afford canned food, sometimes my cats like when I add water to the dry so it gets all mushy

@eris @mikemccaffrey get silvervine sticks to chew! And just use all the dry food for her automatic feeder and still do 2 or 3 canned food meals that you give her. Or hide the dry food around your home for her find like a nightime scavenger hunt. Just set it up before you go to bed. Nosework, like cats sniffing out food, makes them super content as long as it is extra and not a frantic rush to find because they are hungry.

@eris then you can gradually move the time later to train her to eat later in the morning.

There is a rift between Nazis. Some want to normalize it and flaunt it. Others want to keep it on the down low and grow under the radar. It is not surprising for folks at CPAC to introduce themselves to journalists as Nazis and other individuals to vehemently deny Nazis are there, as they are clearly all partying together. Don't be fooled-- they are all Nazis.

The rise of fascism always wins if it is slow enough. People reacting to smaller increments over time desensitizes them. It's all dog training, really. We're the dogs. Never forget that. A small thing deserves a bigger response from everyone.

Do not respond to someone like Chaya (Libs of TikTok, now on the Board of Education) who is partially responsible for Nex's death, by yelling "Shame on you!", or whatever. It should be too dangerous for her to even walk on the street.
