How can people evade someone checking fares on their train?

@eris So far she has been told she can't prove anything put it happens repeatedly and the people in question are obviously doing it. They throw rocks at the dogs and have even tried to hit them with a 2×4 over the fence. She has already gone to court over that stuff and won. She had a camera on the area because of it but her subscription lapsed and it wasn't on.

Some pitbull hating assholes the next street over keep trying to poison my neighbor's pitbulls. Thankfully my yard is not adjacent. She calls the cops every time but I don't call cops. How should I handle this, hypothetically?

I saw fliers in my neighborhood about the Christian prophesy that Jewish people will reclaim all of Israel for themselves, which will be the catalyst for the second coming of Christ and the rapture, wherein all Jewish people will perish. It describes how Zionism must achieve all its goals for this to happen, and it calls for all Christians to join the Zionist fight. I tore them all down.

I was hate-watching "Love on the Spectrum", and got so angry I had to turn it off. I got to the surprise romanic vacation and turned it off. Autistic people don't like surprise vacations. That show is a colosseum where they plunge autistic people (who also have intellectual disabilities) into an arena of aggressively neurotypical social interactions and tell them what to do and say. (Speed dating? Are you serious?) Then they're filmed getting eating by lions for the neurotypical gaze, for sport. 👎👎 #ActuallyAutistic

@rdmc it makes me so sad that I cannot think of a single good example of representation in tv/film. Can anyone else who is #ActuallyAutistic ? I can only think of good examples of people I think are autistic-coded, like the sister who wrote sci-fi in "Happiest Season" or Daniel Day-Lewis in "Phantom Thread"...I could keep going but 😅

It's also not the same as "selective mutism" which happens with social phobias (of which there are many). But social phobias are more common in autistic people. #ActuallyAutistic #SelectiveMutism

When people self-diagnose with autism (totally valid!), keep in mind that most professionals will not diagnose it without debilitating social deficits. The sensory issues could be an "integrated sensory dysfunction", for example. All this neurodivergence is a spectrum, but for autism you have significant social challenges.

I just spent $90 on the pet poison hotline, so let me pass this info on for free to others. My 70 pound/31 kilogram dog is in the danger zone of kidney failure and death after eating 5 raisins and may not show symptoms until it's too late, which is about 12 hours later. He ate more than that, so he's off to the emergency clinic. Raisins sit in the stomach for a while in dogs his size-- about 5 hours. Even vets don't know the dosage that is dangerous (they usually call and pass the charge on to you), and I am surprised it is that few raisins that can be deadly. Don't fuck with raisins.

I'm permanently banned from Nextdoor, but I gave myself a chuckle remembering the time I posted that I'm thankful for so many coyote sightings because the outdoor cats are wreaking havoc. People were so upset! Feel free to use that one.
