@mac84tv My favorite story about him is how he got his name. His mom had read somewhere (I think a reader’s digest) that “Macho man” was going to be the new “in” thing. So she told him and that was it.

@totalclaireity @dandb (I do want to add that most of the time the creatives aren’t getting paid anyways when it comes to older games. Just like I don’t get a cent for any software I’ve written in the last 20+ years, above my salary.

I absolutely do want creatives to be able to live and create more for me to enjoy. But let’s be clear about who gets the big bucks here:( )

@goatsarah My battery performance is “significantly degraded” apparently :) In all seriousness though. 5 years of 24/7 on and lots of use is pretty impressive.

I haven’t made the leap to electric, bet it’s a whole new world to discover and stats and ways of doing things:)

(The reason is that I drive my car maybe 10 times a year, so, yeah. Not much use.)

@goatsarah In some ways the wrong question, why aren’t the rest of us angrier about this? It’s not that damn complicated. Step one, be nice. Step two, everyone is equal and get the same rights.

@mac84tv There’s a thing in the metal scene since way forever back (and it’s not to be taken very seriously) that you don’t wear the T shirt of the band you are watching/or your own band’s shirt on stage (except for Iron Maiden, they are allowed).

Just thinking that it would be neat to see a bunch of videos of people wearing other’s Ts. No plug, no big deal. Just being cool.

@goatsarah I’ve used very little of the math they tried to teach me and forgotten an awful lot of it:(

But my opinion wasn’t that it was a pointless thing to be taught, but that school did one hell of a bad job at doing it:( At one point I was good at maths (at least compared to my peers) and slowly they sucked every bit of fun and wonder out of it:(

Also I said day one that Google having a browser was to further their own goals of stealing information and forcing ads everywhere.

People were quite upset with me for having that opinion. But here we are, and I have no joy in being right about this or anything else negative:(

@goatsarah I don’t think the majority of them would be miserable in a sensible socialist ideal world, as the goal isn’t to make one group miserable but rather make everyone happy.

That’s the difference for me, anyone who needs to make others miserable to feel joy are terrible people who shouldn’t be in charge of anything anywhere.

I do guess my left leaning politics did happen, but that’s really because of all the nasty people out there. I don’t like to be mistreated, and I think the best solution to that is to have nobody be mistreated.

I should listen to some metal so I remain nice.

Never worried much about my own gender/sexuality. Kinda figured I don’t need to worry about others :P

I’m kinda disappointed. Nothing has “worked on me”. Satan has never spoken to me, no murder sprees, haven’t changed orientation, no 5D or depravity or magnetism or anything.

I need help, where are the people who know how get this happening? At least a little weekend possession, can we manage that?
