   That's the thing- if only copyright fulfilled its stated purpose of encouraging creatives by paying them there'd be some point to it.
   And the money lost to 'piracy' is imaginary money.

     @totalclaireity @dandb (I do want to add that most of the time the creatives aren’t getting paid anyways when it comes to older games. Just like I don’t get a cent for any software I’ve written in the last 20+ years, above my salary.

     I absolutely do want creatives to be able to live and create more for me to enjoy. But let’s be clear about who gets the big bucks here:( )
