@veronica thanks for sharing, this was a fun watch!! Subscribed!

@DosFox from my research into the clones (and others I’ve spoken to), no product ever materialized. Maybe they had a prototype? But I’ve seen no evidence of anything being shipped, etc.

⚠️BitBang.social maintenance is now complete! 🚧

Thank you for your patience. We'll try our best to announce future updates as we move forward, etc. 👍

⚠️ Planned BitBang.social Upgrade Downtime Today (Oct. 6th)! 🚧

At approximately 12:00pm Eastern (4:00pm UTC), BitBang.social will be briefly unavailable while systems are restarted.

This will likely result in two 10-15 minute periods of unavailability.

Please share this post for visibility. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 👍

@CursedSilicon Sean is going through some health things, so this isn't on the top of the list.

However, a few of us are working with him to try and get some of this stuff sorted when possible.

@stack It was great meeting you as well, thanks for stopping by the booth! Hope you had a great show! 👍

My good pal @RonsCompVids is hosting a fun chat TONIGHT about the recent VCF Midwest show.

Join me, Ron, and a bunch of awesome folks as we chat about what we saw, what we took home, and more!

This stream will also be simulcast to my channel, so tune in! 🍿

I picked up a bunch of cool floppies and disks at VCF Midwest... let's archive them and see if we find anything interesting!

In my latest video I explore @MuseumJoe new WOOTswitch, an ADB switch box that lets me have four Macs on my desk, but use one keyboard and mouse! This saves me a TON of desk space!

Today we're going to (try) and repair some things before VCF Midwest.

Also, I'm starting a month-long fundraiser to help a wonderful animal rescue organization, you can donate directly via the YouTube Giving function on the stream.

Going live in about 30 min! 🐶

Freshly scanned and archived! ✨

My manual for my SyQuest SQ270 / SQ105 external SCSI cartridge disk drive. Super handy if you need to familiarize yourself with SyQuest hardware.

@DosFox congratulations to you both!! 🎉

Oh yeah, live streaming is a thing, heck it's been a while... tune in shortly for *checks notes* repair attempts of some kind!

@CursedSilicon Yep, at least I'm in good company!

Hey friends,

I’m in need of a new job.

(No, YouTube doesn’t pay the bills. 😓)
