And the suggestion that Jesus would throw sinners in hell would be based on what?

I do not rule out that people may exist who call themselves Christians and who believe something like that.

But that doesn't mean that is what Christianity is about.

I think many Christians do.

And whether it is Jesus who saves them from going to hell: a central belief of Christianity is that through the crucifixion he sacrificed himself to atone for the sins of humanity.

The notion that it's Jesus who sends sinners to hell, would be diametrically opposed to this belief.

I had my first programming experiences with the university PDP-10 main frame, but the first computer that I actually owned was a Sinclair ZX-81.

I remember looking in awe at the cabinets of the PDP-10, residing in a large space separated by a glass wall, behind which only the operators were worthy to approach.

In terms of CPU performance, memory capacity etc., a Raspberry Pi could have run circles around it.
