It makes perfect sense that of the people newly politicized by the Trump campaign who went to that march, which made up the vast majority of the crowd in that picture, most decided to never go to another political event ever again.
They just found out they don't actually have freedom of speech, what else you expected them to do ?

My mother said her entire life that the reason my father couldn't get a better job was that despite being an Engineer he always dressed like a nobody, people looked at him and instantly dismissed him.
Many recruiters nowadays are Women, they will judge you merely on the appearance of your CV, they are HR professionals, they don't know anything about computer science either.
As a curiosity, when you send your CV to someone via email, you do convert to something else, right ?
