@BasedLord and flour tortillas taste better, which they didn't even had in the past.

Been saying this for years. Beanoid slop is just diarrhea style nigger trash on different tortilla shapes.

@animegothicgirl88 it's not even hard to make. it's single pan stuff.

I think most people just have 0 idea how to cook now and so are entranced by easy stuff.

Carnitas is even easy. Just slow boil a tenderloin for a few hours, shred, then put under a low broiler until desired crisp is achieved.

He's not wrong most popular "Mexican" cuisines can be broken down to flour or corn tortilla, ground beef/skirt steak/chicken, bell peppers/onions lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole with choice of either sour cream sauce, chili con carne sauce or queso sauce.

@AsukaNeko @homesteader_surfer I've had a really good mole dish, but again that's like the high cuisine spanish stuff.

@animegothicgirl88 it's just, I think, that for a lot of people, they have no idea how to cook, and because their parents didn't teach them, it's essentially food rocket science.

Enchiladas is not difficult to make. But people get spooked by the idea of making then and think they need to consult Mamma Rosa from Guadeloupe, Mexico down the street to make them. You don't. Just basic cooking techniques will get you 85% there. If you can't roll them then layer then, add more sauce, season your meat.

Tacos, fajitas, burritos, nachos need no explanation.

I'm so glad this was said, there is a reason even the cutest latina looks like a dump truck by age thirty. The refuse they yeet across the border is peasant food, the shit they serve you isn't what the whiter, and richer Mexicanos eat. Same as it ever was.
