She went into the taco joint thinking that she was giving money to people who would soon be destroyed...
The same people she later accused of stealing, were the ones she initially thought were the chumps. The ones she was pulling something over, on!
Of course, this is anecdotal, and shows how, within Christianity, a mere 95% of a group can ruin it for the other 5%.

I would suspect those giving it that evaluation are using current bid price, and pretending there's deep enough demand that the market price will stay there.
My initial contention is that demand at the current price is as deep as the Republican gene pool.
Time will flesh out what's happening here. Once the facts start coming in, I reserve the right to update.

With the RNC under Trump, there is only one place for the Republican Party to go...if they don't win, and I give them bad odds. They will have to essentially start anew. Trump will leave a shell of a machine, and still nobody will be able to drive it but for him or his family. -

Here's a startling prediction. The new Republicans will be forged from scratch by Cheney and a small cohort coalescing around her. The old party is permanently fractured, and I'd urge whatever sane comes from its ashes to abandon the name Republican. It has become stained beyond repair, as the new White Dominionist Fascist Trump party.
Part of that prediction rests on the fact that a fascist party never dies of its own accord, it must be killed. The Republican Party must, as an org, die. To become as defunct as a Know-Nothing, or a Whig.

Stu Duerson, machina exo deus (skydog@sfba.social)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Mar-2024 08:06:54 JST Stu Duerson, machina exo deus The unfortunate part of it is, I don't think there's any quick way to separate Trump from any foreign underwriting. I think he'll have access to as much as he can spend as long as there's any significant chance he can win.
The down-ticket candidates on the Republican ballot will take the brunt. Trump's burning it all down, before he's dragged away.
At the end of all this, I half expect the biggest joke of all. If Trump can ever wrap his mind around the damage he's caused the Republican Party, you know he'll claim he did it for the Democrats.

And eventually, he will. Biden's job is to screw Netti before he screws Joe. I think it's as simple as that.

If I had to put money on it, I'd say we had started this sort of referencing on Trump even during his administration. If we can envision it here in the fediverse, pros have thought about it decades ago.(on edit) Matter of fact, thinking about it, I know a psychopath in Atlanta who was caught plagarizing legal documents thru the use of literary taggants. His personality is very similar to Trump, just a bit less bombastic. He's due to be released next year, convicted (12.5yrs) of scamming two women out of millions.

They lived in my nightmares. This one 'mirrors' social obligations, amongst the parrots, geese, lizards and toads. Pretty apt, I think.

Stu Duerson, machina exo deus (skydog@sfba.social)'s status on Wednesday, 24-Jan-2024 06:59:05 JST Stu Duerson, machina exo deus Hungary and Slovakia are both bordering Ukraine, and are creating turbulence within NATO. The Poles are hung out to dry if those two go so far as to violate the NATO compact. This is a spreading disease, and it's better if they're issued an ultimatum to stay in, sooner rather than later. They're providing cover for Putin on Ukraine's western border, not a front...until it's a front.
Our support of Ukraine is important enough that if it is lost, the new 'Russian (USSR)' borders may not be at Ukraine's limit, but all the way west so as to be up against Czechia, down to the Adriatic states.
If they want NATO protection, a nation must also provide NATO support.
One last word. Between Sweden and Hungary, we need Sweden more. They have advanced military capability, and I have no idea what Hungary has, other than to say an authoritarian's army is normally riddled with graft and hardware theft..

Stu Duerson, machina exo deus (skydog@sfba.social)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Nov-2023 02:23:52 JST Stu Duerson, machina exo deus A political party often has some morally vacant people within it. Today's Republican party is unique in two aspects, in regards to this:
1) That so many of those morally vacant people have ascended to the leadership of the Republicans, and
2) that those being led have not left the party.
It's not hard to oppose such a party. As a matter of fact, it is more of a duty AND a privilege.
