He started off by bragging about his golf course instead of apologizing for being an hour late and leaving people waiting all day under a heat advisory.
He said he didn’t know what NATO was.

No. Trump's no comedian. You're not only minimizing how dangerous he is, you apparently haven't noticed how huge his influence is, how his "bad comedy" has led to #Project2025, and so much more.

I'm bewildered about the Right's interpretation of comedy. What they qualify as a joke has none of the classic elements of joke construction (per O'Shannon). It relies solely on offense or cruelty, which CAN be comedically incorporated, but needs the rest of the structure to actually convey humor.
It comes out as pure mean.

@GottaLaff He behaves on stage the same way as the majority of stand up comedians I’ve seen. I don’t know what stand up shows you’ve been to, but the only thing that’s missing is the high number of really low quality explicit sex jokes.
Please note that I didn’t say good stand up comedian. The point is, he treats the truth in the same manner as a stand up comedian. Exaggerations, totally made up things, all to get a reaction. The ultimate goals are of course very different.

He claimed “tens of thousands” of people showed up to this sad little rally. He later said “45,000 people” when it barely looked like 2k people were there.
He froze like a deer in headlights for 10 straight seconds.
He praised Laura Loomer and repeatedly called her “amazing.”
He’s mad that Kamala Harris laughs and called her “L-a-f-f-i-n’ Kamala,” proving what we already knew that bro can’t spell.

He said he wants a “no holds barred” debate without moderators this week. Essentially the two of them screaming at each other. Super dumb idea. Especially when Biden is hosting the NATO summit.
He also challenged President Biden to a golf tournament this week when President Biden is busy meeting with NATO leaders and doing his job.
He said Biden “doesn’t know what a synagogue is.”
He thinks you have to stop electric cars every hour.

@GottaLaff The problem isn’t that he isn’t telling the truth. The problem is that he is a stand up comedian running for president, and you shouldn’t elect a stand up comedian as your president based on their stand up routines.

He called the fictional Hannibal Lecter “a lovely man” and compared him to immigrants.

He forgot how to say “feared” and said “field.”
He said he’d be the “greatest president that God has ever created.”

Well, I mean, they are correct. #Biden is a terrible candidate and a genocide enabler, and a good portion of the party doesn't want him.
He is risking the future of democracy in the United States by not stepping aside. It would be great if we could have a president that is not an octogenarian.
