   Watched "Red One". Better than expected. Dwayne Johnston and Chris Evans manage to carry the farce for a lot of running time. Great production, cast, special effects etc. Kristofer Hivju is good.

   A novel take on Christmas movie with lots of action and humor.

   It's a Christmas movie...I don't expect to be blown away...

   I'm bewildered about the Right's interpretation of comedy. What they qualify as a joke has none of the classic elements of joke construction (per O'Shannon). It relies solely on offense or cruelty, which CAN be comedically incorporated, but needs the rest of the structure to actually convey humor.

   It comes out as pure mean.
