@amszmidt @yayaver I would love to hear how you prepare food without using any time. Or did you mean thyme? I can do lots of meal prep without thyme, true, but the clock doesn't magically stop when I take out a cutting board.

@steter @kimlockhartga My reading is she was pretending to play nice so he wanted to see what she'd do if he pissed her off. He knows she's a right wing nationalist, so he can't have her pretending to be nice. He needs her in his pocket for real so he wants to test her. It's the George Bush gives Andrea Merkel a shoulder rub moment.

@skinnylatte Exploring fashion as part if gender non-conforming identities can be really fun and interesting. As a currently femme-presenting gender-fluid person, I always hated fashion too, but once I started to see how trans men and trans women approach fashion, as well as looking at icons like David Bowie or Annie Lennox, I've started to find 'looks' that work better for me. Also, photographed my clothes in different combos so that I can scroll & pick what to wear while eating breakfast.

@inthehands @yvonnezlam @jannem I'm going to push back on this a little because I work in a field where we focus very much on teaching students the importance of both zooming in and zooming out, in order to grasp what needs doing. It's introduced in 3rd & 4th year but really kicks in, in graduate school. So I don't think it's impossible to do. You just perhaps don't teach for it in the context you're in.
