@skinnylatte Most of my family friends are friends of my parents who are doctors who graduated NUS back in the late 60s but that includes people who married rich, were already rich, etc. Some of those doctors became MDs to really rich people which also helped…. I don’t have friends in the super strata. Ok that’s not strictly true, one of my godsisters married really rich, “get your photo in Tatler” rich.

@skinnylatte Oh so basically everyone I know is middle class but there is some kind of “large condo with car still works” that is “upper middle”. Or “has a house, still works” I guess lower upper class.

Checking in on how #FiberGoals went in April - I did at least 5 minutes of fiber arts on 21/30 days. I was hoping for more but some days I was just too tired, and that’s ok. @skinnylatte I enjoy driving. But we took the train back and forth from Emeryville to Glenwood Springs, CO, which took like 28 hrs or even more (there was a delay). We had a private roommette with a bathroom (so important). And it was absolutely lovely. Would do again.

I finally made it home and got my Everybody’s Tarot mini set from @sarakathleenuk. It is every bit as wonderful as I had hoped — and my special custom card which she designed in conversation with me is amazing. I cannot wait to use this set. #tarot #knitting #community #connection

I’m intrigued by this free slipper pattern from purl soho - knit flat in garter, shaped with decreases and bind offs, and then folded together and seamed to create the slipper shape.
