I dont have any idea if comicsgate had any effect on anything at all, ever
it sure seems like comicsgate has been a poison pill for the right wing in general and indie comics in particular, but I don't know of many people who have ever even heard of comicsgate
the general consensus even in places that should be in the know is usually "there's a comicsgate?" and that question mark needs to be fifty stories tall because holy shit comicsgate just doesnt even exist
