And indeed, LLMs can only interpolate between existing data, so even if all this was a problem, which it is not, they wouldn't solve it.

There was a pretty sundown going on here which made everything feel a bit red. So I made some photos from the bridge, in opposite directions.

I liked that both sides looked beautiful but in a very different way, so I put them together in one picture to show the contrast! 🖼️

The year is 2030.

All major companies have been acquired by Amazon. Yes, turns out, Bezos had been the most loyal to the regime, so his company got to be the one. Didn't help him personally, as he was eventually defenestrated and replaced by Thiel himself.

Amazon is the state. The state is Amazon.

So, now you need an Amazon Prime account for everything. Don't want one? Sure, but now you can't do grocery shopping, as all supermarkets are owned by Amazon. You can't buy food unless you have a Prime account.

Food prices are artificially inflated, so most people can hardly sustain themselves. The unsold food is destroyed in big Amazon destruction farms, because that is somehow cheaper for them than actually lowering the prices.

Cars are now all self driving and also owned by Amazon. You are not allowed your own car - you need your subscription to ride one.

Normal phones and computers are now illegal - you can only get Amazon hardware with built-in spyware, which will only run in-house Amazon apps. It records your microphone input 24/7 as training data for the Amazon AI.

Also, if you use Forbidden Language, your Prime subscription will be canceled, which is basically a death sentence; so people have become very careful to not be too critical of anything state owned..

Normal websites have been outlawed - you are only allowed to be on the Amazon web, which includes just one social media: Truth Social. :ablobcatsweatflip:

@icedquinn I share all those frustrations with alternative platforms. but that's exactly why I'd like to see something new, something that's just not a platform, but decentralized, yet can serve the same function.
