I guarantee not a single one will be arrested and charged or given five years in jail for impeding traffic, damaging the commercial interests of London, or causing pollution.
Will they have paid their congestion charges coming into London?
Will they be dipped for Red Diesel?
Will their licences be checked?
Will any reporter find out which multi-millionaire is shouting loudest here?
Will any reporter find out how many acres each of these farmers owns?
Will any reporter find out who has simply invested in land to avoid paying their due share of taxes?
Will any reporter remind them farmers have had fifty years without paying IHT, and that they used to pay IHT until Thatcher gave them a break?
Will any reporter ask who is an agent for a foreign corporate and wouldn’t;t be paying tax here anyway? A lot of UK land is not owned by people who live and pay taxes in the UK.
Will Farage, Badenoch and others who supported Brexit be cheering these farmers on?

I think it’s a little late, and such actions demonstrate how utterly out of touch with reality they are. Part of me is pleased they are terrified (which I wish I wasn’t). Part of me wonders if those behind Project 2025 are beginning to realise they will all be at risk of assassination if they continue to treat the public in this contemptuous way.

I truly hope the good justices can see through the nastiness and the hate of anyone who does not fit the rigid views of the likes of Rowling, Cherry et al. A total refusal to recognise trans rights, intersex people and their rights, womens rights, mens rights and everyone’s autonomy and personal decisons are all on the line in this case. It will be a huge danger to all the hard won rights of everyone if this case succeeds. #TransRights is where it begins, and all our rights and autonomy is where it ends.

Factory farming is wrong on every possible level; cruel, inhumane, pollution, and health. DAERA in NI are contradicting themselves here - belatedly expressing concerns about pollution, having enabled so many of these factory farms in the last ten years or so; currently putting a plan in place to try and save Lough Neagh and restore it.
At the same time, DAERA have announced an appeal against the court ruling that stops polluting gas caverns being excavated in a Marine protected area at Islandmagee. The company concerned has just bailed out of Harland & Wolff Shipyard in Belfast, as they have no money and lots of bills.
Why is DAERA talking out of both sides of its mouth? Why are they appealing a court ruling against a company with no money? Why pretend they are concerned with pollution in Lough Neagh, while hoping to overturn a ruling against pollution of a protected marine area?
Some years ago, Nichola Mallon of SDLP, reinstated sand dredging in Lough Neagh, despite a court ruling against it.
Lord/Earl of Shaftsbury gets a royalty for every tonne of sand dredged there. His family were gifted the lake bed several generations ago.

@Lazarou Dawn Butler is not wrong. Badenoch hates everyone who does not do as she demands, and fights with everyone who does not agree with her version of how the UK should be. She started with trans people, then the Irish, followed by an attack on working pregnant women, who take maternity leave; and she’s an avid supporter of forcing people to a third country like Rwanda, plus she supports isolation like Brexit. There is nothing likeable about Badenoch at all, unless you are a racist.

@GottaLaff @Brandi_Buchman His lawyers requested it be moved to a federal court. I think it’s been requested to be moved back to Philadelphia. Musk didn’t show, but those lawyers of his did, in another court. Hopefully that counts as comtempt of court.

@Lazarou Myself & OH are both retired; I’m only expecting negatives for us. Both my adult children work and have their own homes [one in London and one in Belfast], and I’m not expecting anything decent for them either.
