The peace ship Madleen has been violently boarded by Israeli military, spraying a thick, stinging substance as they arrived. Yesterday, 13 people were killed by Israeli fire near an aid station in Rafah, Gaza. The Israelis say "Humanitarian aid is delivered regularly and effectively via different channels and routes, and is transferred through established distribution mechanisms". Famine is raging in Gaza

Oddly, nothing about this in the newspapers (that I've found on a desultory Sunday morning trawl) - virtually every delivery cyclist in Dublin walked silently through the streets to Parnell Street yesterday, then convened on a block in Dominick Street where a stolen bike was showing up on its tracker. They got the bike back; no violence, no noise
