@JessTheUnstill @bullivant The middle ground is ‘equality’ There is no other negotiation and there should never be. It doesn’t matter if it’s a discussion of women’s rights, disabled persons rights, mens rights, single parents rights, rights for those with learning difficulties, gay rights, lesbian rights, rights for immigrants or visitors, trans people’s rights - everyone is entitled to those same rights. Once any government or society starts down a road of less rights for some people, it’s a quick step to less rights for more people -
Remove autonomy so women can’t control their reproductive choice, but not from men - only from women…
Remove options to wear a headscarf - women in some religions are singled out…
Remove options for choosing your partner - men and women are singled out, and forced or arranged marriages become ‘normal’
Remove options for single parents - their children are take away and adopted elsewhere, or put in some kind of training school/institution - Racism & religions and colonial occupiers still do this.
Remove options for gay people, and revisit the horrors inflicted on Alan Turing again. The UK government has even suggested some kind of chemical castration for specific types of offender [cheaper than incarcerating them, I guess]
Remove options for trans women [hardly anyone is mentioning trans men - but the same nightmare applies for them] - no sport participation, no toilet facilities, reduced employment options, no treatment in hospital which is allowed if you are not trans but need the same perfectly legal and approved drugs.
Equality is the only middle ground. Everything else is literally Nazi and we’ve been there and seen that.

🤣 JD Vance is only Vance because his mother married a mane whose surname is Vance. His father has a completely different name, and his name was changed to suit the marriage. He has no genealogical connection whatsoever to this place. A DUP MLA presented him with a book [researched at taxpayers expense] which proved to be inconclusive. #JDVance #DUP #Lies

If politicians didn’t spend their time treating people like shit on their shoe, and being obnoxious bellends, they are as likely as anyone else to get alternative employment when they leave politics.
Such obnoxious politicians are welcome to life on benefits, and the misery they bestowed so casually on others.
It seems some have not learned the basic lessons in life, and continue to expect some kind of handout. I don’t know too many jobs that give people three months full salary when they are surplus to requirements, do you?

@Infoseepage @SoftwareTheron @ScottLucas The icing on the cake is the USA appears to be completely unaware of anything to do with this operation. I suspect if the USA knew, Putin would have been informed and the operation would have failed. Two bridges collapsed somewhere also, causing more loss and trouble for Russia.

It will surely work in favour of progress towards a United Ireland IMO, as RTE and Republic based media should do the exact opposite. Make all their media available in all parts of the UK. Spread the message of the positive aspects for being a member of the EU, and how London should remove themselves from control of the Occupied Six in Northern Ireland.
The BBC have become increasingly partial and narrow, and have lost their reputation as an objective or reliable network for information. This is the UK narrowing its borders even more, having left the EU. Not just freedom of movement is reduced; it seems freedom of information is likely to be reduced also. #Think32 #UI #UKPol #IRLPol

Dismayed by Gerry Adams’ libel victory in a Dublin court, BBC now considering geoblocking Republic
Inside the BBC, Gerry Adams’s libel victory in Dublin’s High Court immediately prompted radical thinking. Few in the Republic yet realise that the most profound implications of this case could be borne not by British licence fee payers, but by the Irish public.

Arresting people for putting a removable sticker on a cash machine - yet the same police never arrest the purveyors and promoters of hate, transphobia, homophobia and misogyny who are in Belfast almost daily with loudspeakers.
The cops have lost all sense of reason and rationale. At the most, this should have been a discussion with the ladies in question, not a gross misuse of taxpayers money in the police station, the CPS and the courts.
The removable sticker was removed at the time, yet they still charged her.
    Complete indefensible madness. #PSNI

50% tarriffs from 1st June for all EU. And there’s a seperate post where he’s telling UK to get rid of wind farms, then goes into some nonsensical contradictory rant about Aberdeen and North Sea Oil. It also has big old threat vibes, for what may happen if the UK doesn’t stop creating wind farms. I guess more tarriffs…..
Do not engage in business with the USA. It is not a stable country, and any agreement is likely to be rescinded a few days later when the 🍊💩 changes his mind.
Also, do not travel to the USA. Do not even take a flight that has a stopover there. You may end up in some detention centre. https://journa.host/@w7voa/114557173037623484

This is horrendous. How long before the powers that be decide to make it mandatory for all kinds of people whose personal lives and decisions they disapprove of? Alan Turing was chemically castrated for being attracted to other men; he committed suicide. It will not solve the issue of those who are offenders, but I guess the short-sighted officials believe it’s going to be cheaper than monitoring such individuals.
