@Infoseepage I thought they had to have a staging base and refuel to do such a distance. And they must have quite a crew on board, as no pilot can do 37 hours straight, and be capable of their job.

@Infoseepage I’m equally horrified and terrified by all of this. There are also all kinds of lies being told about the damage allegedly done or not by these bombers. I fear the US action with the complicity of the UK, Israel and others has put targets on the backs of every citizen.

@Infoseepage He’s Netanyahu’s poodle and he’s probably got Alzheimers; and he’s surrounded by the worst people. His vanity is inestimable - anyone can flatter him to make him think he’s a strong man making correct decision, as they use him for their own devious ends. But I understood that Congress had to vote on any such action, and release a specific amount of funds - that it is literally written into the constitution so one man cannot make a dangerous decision like this. @wdlindsy has a great thread on this.

@Infoseepage It is so lovely to have a day in nature, without the toxicity of current politics. Refreshing and calming. We spent today by Lough Neagh for similar reasons. Just to chill and calm our inner selves. You have some interesting birds - a grey wagtail [with a yellow waistcoat] and a dipper [quite difficult to photograph], a bunch of various gulls, and something that might be a kind of grebe.

@Infoseepage Let’s see if they bring in the chopper with heat seeking kit on board, and start checking out any cabins or trails used by his family, or associates in that area. Regular chopper passes might make him and his associates, if they are supplying food etc to a cabin, a bit squirrely. He could be forced out or located in that case, especially if he’s hungry. They need to keep a close watch on all his other targets until they have him.

@Infoseepage Every post or media update suggests to me there’s more people aware of what was planned, and that they are either helping him, or hoping to avoid being questioned or jailed for their part in this. If they were shocked at his behaviour they would either go to the cops or go to their church and in any case they would have their lawyer with them.

@Infoseepage I can see no other reason she was in a vehicle with a bunch of cash and passports, other than her being an accessory. The various businesses were in her name, or joint names. I can see no reason they should have let her go, unless they took her home, seized the passports and the money, and put her under house arrest. Anything else, suggests they are so incompetent they shouldn’t be officers, or they are complicit.

@Infoseepage And they let her go after three hours… There _must_ be complicity with the local cops, or other forces. If she’d been a brown person they would have thrown her in the slammer and charged her pretty quickly, if they didn’t shoot her as soon as the stopped the car. Nothing about this sits right. I wonder if they are in a safe house, or already spirited out of the country.

@Infoseepage Initial reports seemed to suggest two people - that may have been because of the mask he clearly wore when he murdered the senator and her husband. Then they posted his CV, apparently showing his various companies, his African military links, his Christian business etc. I don’t know how much of this is real and how much is some fabricated stuff by him now; since the note mentioned his sometimes roommates. Having roommates is a bit weird if you are successful owner of various businesses. And then there’s his part time work in some store…. It’s rather contradictory, unless the whole point is to have a muddy cover story so no one can find him, or know who he really is. Does he actually have a wife or family? If he’s a successful business person, or involved with Proud Boys, Evangelicals he may well have escaped already through his friends and associates.
The only other likelihood is that he committed suicide, and he does not strike me as a suicidal individual given all that other information.

@aral Starmer seems utterly incapable of being on the right side of history or the argument ever. Aargh.

@Infoseepage I suspect he has even more disguises, and given his businesses he’s probably escaped abroad already.

@Infoseepage Although the cops have got the assassins vehicle, which contained some kind of murder manifesto or list; we don’t know yet if it’s an actual officer, or someone dressed and looking like a cop. It’s shocking targeted murders - not just shootings.

I sincerely hope the request to extend isn’t because TERF supporters want more time to find ways to exclude trans people from every aspect of public life.

Then there’s the Common Travel Area - an agreement between the republic of Ireland and the UK.
Then there’s the stupidity of two people bringing knowingly out of date passports and expecting that to be fine and dandy.

@aral It has to be way more than 50k murdered in Gaza. There’s countless numbers under the bombed ruins. Much of the documentation has been destroyed so how can numbers even be counted? That there’s dozens murdered every day, yet the number stays at 50k makes no sense at all. Personally I guess there’s at least one, possibly two zeros missing from that estimate.
