@sun Bans and curfews cut off vulnerable kids from their peers and non-resident family members. My ex-wife lied to, bullied and isolated our children from me and my family. When she kicked out eldest out AT TWELVE YEARS OLD, the daughter learnt that my family didn't hate her and abandon her. They took her in.
Hiding under the covers at night with a secret tablet his mum didn't know about was the only way my son could communicate with the outside world before being assaulted by his step-father. She would get drunk and repeatedly physically attack him "you are just like your fucking father". Eventually he got a bit bigger, fought back and broke her rib. Small victories.
This doesn't detail the mental and emotional abuse.
Government is not the answer. Fuck them, all of them. I appreciate that there are a lot of nasty things and shitty people on the internet, but 'the government' is going to make life a lot more miserable for the vulnerable, the isolated and victims of domestic abuse.
We had posters up at work detailing abusive behaviour, strangely a lot of it mapped pretty fucking well onto UK government policy and action.

Better than my idea!! I cobbled together a D&D hexcrawl generator which makes a map, creates towns, of varying sizes with routes between, creates NPCs, treasure tables, hirelings, rumor generator, monsters, weather and encounters.
Totally useless to anyone but me and does nothing of any real value when I should be doing stuff like language language learning or working.

@PNS unrelated to the Macarema but during the lockdown we had 'vulnerable' and keyworker kids attending school. Each morning they'd do an exercise/dance thing in class. One staple song was "Timber" by Pitbull (lol, who??). I'd been out of the country and was totally unaware of it.
TL;DR apparently it's okay to have under-10s dancing in a State-run school to a song about drinking and date rape. Because, as we all know, if you're too drunk to remember, you can't possibly have been cogent enough to give consent.
