@tk @purple The 99% are still counter-cultural (in America at least), only less so. In the same way that bicycle transport is. As long as our culture/laws/infrastructure are so geared toward cars we all share in the same difficulty of operating a less-safe vehicle in physical and legal spaces not designed for us, around drivers who don't expect or like us on the road.
