unfortunately i don't want to embarrass my girlfriend so i tend to just hold my tongue ...

i guess in the past i got so tied up on past experiences that i didn't let myself have new ones. love could only make sense in light of prior love. but then when i'm actually open to the experience — when i can give in to it, regardless — it always feels like the first time, anyway.
