     @amy@kokoro.garden there are a lot! they have slightly different ece ratings than in europe but it's basically the same, i think mine is snell and ece but i'm not sure

     @amy@kokoro.garden oh yeah i just always add aftermarket ones to the helmet, there's a chance that it could catch on the road and drag somehow but if i'm highsiding then shit's probably bad lol

     @shibao I was going to express my skepticism that any cat ear helmet could handle the rotational force involved in ECE 22.06 but I found little magnetic clip on ones that would pop off in collisions which seem way more trustworthy..

     @amy@kokoro.garden i feel like most helmets in those crashes are more about the impact resistance so foam/rubber cat ears should help a bit with it and you can still slide all around on the sides

     @nik I am a carbon copy of every other techie Seattle-ite who moved here for worked and has a wife and dog but no kids, does outdoorsy stuff on the weekends, and some moderately active hobbies that get me away from the computer after work during the week.
