    What we need is something like a digital encyclopedia that's curated by trustworthy Whites and a system of education that encourages an interest in learning for those who have the capacity and a fast-track to trades/apprenticeships for those more suited to labor industries.

    The fuck does my mechanic need to spend 2 years in biology class for?

    The idea that you can take a cross-section of the population and apply the same educational strategy across the board is retarded and inefficient.

We have the sum total of our species' achievements and accumulated knowledge at our finger tips and the general public is just as ignorant when it comes to life skills and understanding the natural world as they've ever been.

    Knowledge only has value to those who can actually interpret and apply it.

    Every half-tard gets a TA (teacher's assistant) that pushes them through each class. For what? So an 80 IQ meatbag can graduate with the same qualifications as the average kid? $50k/year for each of these TAs to make sure Gump-tier intellectuals have high school diplomas that qualify them to be door greeters at wal-mart.

    We don't have a lack of information. We have a misguided approach to uplifting our youth and making sure each tier of aptitude has a reasonable chance of achieving their potential.

    I realize this might be a little off topic since you were discussing video games but if we could use technology to categorize and motivate younger minds into classes based on mental capacity rather than age we'd see a major surge in competent and committed young professionals.

    @p @cunt @redneonglow @Jojothegoodperson @SilverDeth @epictittus Sure. That's an option. But any post-secondary institution is going to take the 80 IQ diploma guy over the 100 IQ GED and so would most employers.

    I guess the group I'm specifically discussing here is the ones who think reading is for nerds and have no interest in learning or education and the developmentally challenged people who don't benefit at all from the extra attention. It's not going to change their lives in any measurable way.

    Seeing the budget expanded year after year to bring up the bottom 5-10% instead of creating opportunities for people who have the potential to make a real difference and could is a waste of resources.

    Too many people I grew up with developed a bad taste for the education system that kept them from pursuing a serious goal in life. People who could have been community leaders if they were motivated and encouraged properly.

    They are only capable of something close to what we define as love and loyalty towards their blood offspring and even that is shaky.
