@CliffSecord @Humpleupagus @hfaust I was a longtime Ubuntu user who switched to Manjaro to be more bleeding edge. I did a substantial PC upgrade at the same time so it was a big improvement, but now I'm curious how it would feel like-for-like. I never used Snap, though.

I do like the KDE Plasma desktop much more than the Gnome desktop that ships with Ubuntu.

I can confirm FreeCAD/XFLR-5/OpenFOAM/Paraview all work just fine. 👍

@waifu I bicycle around local trails when it's warm and I enjoy fiddling around on my computer trying to accomplish random things. I've learned a bit about Docker while getting AI stuff running on a ROCm container. GPU pass through to a VM was over my head. Lately I've been working on this plane that I've designed from scratch to be 3D printed. I think I've posted about it before but I've been thinking I should post more regularly in case someone was interested or had some insight. I enjoy the puzzle of working out how it works and putting all the pieces together.
